Happening is FUN -- and a lot more. It is singing, worshiping in casual clothes, being yourself, meeting other teens who are trying to put it all together, and considering what is real, lasting and important in this changing life. It is an opportunity to talk to other teens about the big decisions they too are making in their lives. Happening is a once-in-lifetime opportunity. The Happening Experience Can Christianity affect the reality of a teenager's world today? Why choose to respond to Christ's love rather than drugs, violence or apathy? The material is not new, it is the same basic stuff. Happening simply provides a method through which ones spirituality may be developed, lived, and shared in fellowship with Christians willing to dedicate their lives to God.
The Happening Experience is a powerful instrument of renewal in the Church. Its aim is to concentrate closely on the person and teachings of Jesus Christ. Happening strives to inspire its participants to further understand and serve Him. Whats more, it provides a means to continue the Christian formation which is just begun in the weekend program.
